Elseid Hysaj’s agent confirms the Napoli right-back has agreed to join Valencia but warns time is running out for the two clubs to close a transfer.

Valencia want Hysaj to replace Cristiano Piccini, who is facing several months out with a serious knee injury, and Mario Giuffredi admitted to mixed feelings about whether the move would go through.

“Hysaj can join Valencia, but it’s all still up in the air,” Giuffredi told Sportitalia.

“Hysaj can join Valencia, but it’s all still up in the air,” Giuffredi told Sportitalia.

“We’ve reached an agreement with Valencia. Now Napoli will have to find an agreement with the player, but it takes time because it’s an international transfer.

“If an agreement isn’t found tomorrow then he’ll stay at Napoli.”

The broadcaster adds the Spaniards will meet Napoli on Friday with the intention of agreeing a fee for the 25-year-old.
