After Fiorentina, now Roma have also entered negotiations for Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul, offering a €25-28m deal.
The versatile creative midfielder and support striker’s profile has surged in recent months after some strong performances for Udinese and in the Copa America.
It is well known that the Viola have tried to approach him, but Udinese rejected the €25m offer.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Roma have now dived in with their own proposal for the 25-year-old.
Their offer is to take De Paul on loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season for a total of €25-28m.
It is still below the €35m asking price, but could get Udinese to the table.
