Sassuolo have officially signed Napoli defender Vlad Chiriches on loan with obligation to buy.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Sassuolo will pay €10m plus bonuses for Chiriches.
The 29-year-old joined Napoli from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2015 for a fee of €7m.
However, injuries and competition for places limited him to just 48 appearances in all competitions.
The Romanian now heads to Mapei Stadium as a replacement for Merih Demiral, who joined Juventus earlier in the summer.
