Reports are claiming the deal to take Shakhtar Donetsk winger Taison to Milan is off.
Milan had been working to bring in Taison on transfer deadline day, despite Shakhtar’s insistence on only selling him for his €30m release clause.
However, Milan News and Gazzetta dello Sport are now reporting negotiations ended with Ukrainian refusing to budge on their demands.
Gazzetta goes into more detail, explaining Milan refused to pay so much for a player who turned 31 earlier in the year.
The Rossoneri are certain of taking at least one attacker today as Ante Rebic is in the process of finalising his two-year loan with option to buy from Eintracht Frankfurt.
