Nikola Kalinic is “proud to become part of this team and this club” after completing his loan with option to buy for €11m move to Roma from Atletico Madrid.
The Giallorossi paid €2m for the season-long loan, with option to buy in June 2020 for a further €9m.
“It feels great, because I am joining a big club,” Kalinic told the official club website.
“I am proud to become part of this team and this club. Roma has big history and I am very happy to be here.”
He will wear the Number 19 jersey for the Giallorossi and was presented by director of sport Gianluca Petrachi.
“Nikola has always been our preferred option, for his ability to both play as a main striker and to slot in alongside Edin Dzeko,” said Petrachi.
“We believe that with his abilities our attacking unit is now well-rounded and we are confident he will show his quality once again in Italy.”
