Parma sporting director Daniele Faggiano has extended his contract with the club until 2022.
The renewal was confirmed in a statement on Parma’s official website.
“Daniele Faggiano’s contract extension is another fundamental step for a club like ours, one which is planning and working to create a structure, grow, improve and constantly look ahead,” said President Pietro Pizzarotti.
“We’re delighted with this contract extension, which was formalised over the past few weeks. We hope to achieve big things together.”
Faggiano previously worked for the likes of Bari, Siena and Palermo before moving to Parma in December 2016.
The 41-year-old helped mastermind the Ducali’s return to Serie A from the third with his transfer dealings.
This summer, he oversaw the arrivals of Vincent Laurini, Hernani, Giuseppe Pezzella, Dejan Kulusevski, Yann Karamoh and Italy international Matteo Darmian.
