Former Milan, Roma and Brazil star Cafu is mourning the loss of his son, who has passed away aged just 30.
Globo Esporte reports Danilo was playing football at his family home in Barueri when he was struck by a heart attack.
Although he was immediately taken to hospital, the 30-year-old was sadly pronounced dead not long after.
Danilo was one of Cafu’s three sons.
His father is regarded as one of football’s greatest-ever full-backs, having made almost 400 appearances for Roma and Milan.
He won two Scudetti and a Champions League, as well as 142 caps and two World Cups for Brrazil.
