Fiorentina director of sport Daniele Pradè is “moved every time I see Franck Ribery advising younger teammates. I never imagined bringing him to Florence.”
The France international made the move as a free agent after 12 years at Bayern Munich.
“I never imagined that we could bring a world class player like him to Florence,” Pradè told Brivido Sportivo.
“Every time I see him advising younger teammates, I feel moved. Champions like him raise everyone’s level in the squad and all the players improve thanks to his presence.
“Kevin-Prince Boateng is another player who has achieved a level of maturity now and can play anywhere. The fact Pol Lirola and Erick Pulgar chose to wear the Viola jersey rather than accept offers from clubs participating in Europe is a great signal and one that should make us feel proud.
“Milan Badelj lowered his salary to help the transfer go through and we need leaders like him in the side.”
