Torino are ready to offer Coach Walter Mazzarri a new contract holding him to the club until June 2023.
The tactician turns 58 next month and took the Toro job in January 2018.
He helped steer them up to seventh place and they reached the Europa League play-offs, losing to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
According to Tuttosport, President Urbano Cairo is eager to lay down the foundations for a new era at the Granata.
Mazzarri’s current contract is due to expire at the end of this season, but the new deal would run to June 2023.
His previous roles were at the likes of Reggina, Sampdoria, Napoli, Inter and Watford.
The Coach’s record with Torino so far is of 30 wins, 21 draws and 16 defeats.
