Eljif Elmas reassured Napoli and North Macedonia fans that his ankle injury is not serious after X-Rays. “I am feeling better.”
The midfielder was in agony and his right ankle had swollen up after an accidental clash during a training session ahead of tomorrow’s Euro 2020 qualifier with Latvia.
He was rushed to hospital for X-Rays amid fears of a fracture, but immediately reassured fans on Instagram.
“Thank you for the support and concern regarding my health. I picked up an injury in today’s training session, but I am feeling better. I hope to be in the mix for the next game.”
Naturally, Napoli doctors will have urged Macedonia to rest Elmas rather than run any unnecessary risks.
