Coach Stefano Pioli still has some decisions to make regarding his starting XI, as defender German Pezzella is in the squad, albeit not 100 per cent fit.

Marko Pjaca is unlikely to start against the club that owns him, as his form has been poor this season, but Gerson is the favourite to be pushed up into the trident attack with Giovanni Simeone and Federico Chiesa.

Another option would be Kevin Mirallas, who has also struggled to make his mark so far this season.

Juventus miss Alex Sandro, Sami Khedira and Emre Can, so Mattia De Sciglio steps in at left-back.

Federico Bernardeschi has recovered from injury, but is not fit enough to start yet against his former teammates.

Juan Cuadrado is expected to play in a midfield role, allowing Miralem Pjanic to rest and moving Rodrigo Bentancur to the role of playmaker.

Dybala is again the trequartista, allowed to roam in support of Mario Mandzukic and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Probable line-ups

Fiorentina: Lafont; Milenkovic, Pezzella, Hugo, Biraghi; Veretout, Edimilson, Benassi; Gerson, Chiesa, Simeone

Juventus: Szczesny; Cancelo, Bonucci, Chiellini, De Sciglio; Cuadrado, Bentancur, Matuidi; Dybala; Mandzukic, Ronaldo
