Nicolas Nkoulou remains out of the squad and Simone Verdi is not yet ready for Torino’s Serie A match against Lecce this evening.

Nkoulou has been accepted back into the Toro fold after he failed to secure a move away, but he will not resume training until Tuesday.

Verdi is also expected to be eased into the XI following his deadline-day return from Napoli, so Alex Berenguer should partner Andrea Belotti up top.

On the left, Ola Aina is set to start over Milan loanee Diego Laxalt, who similarly needs to get up to speed.

Lecce, for their part, will not throw new in attackers Diego Farias and Khouma Babacar straight in, with Coach Fabio Liverani admitting they are lacking fitness.

Lecce (probable): Gabriel; Rispoli, Lucioni, Rossettini, Calderoni; Majer, Tachtsidis, Shakhov; Mancosu; Falco, Lapadula
