Lucas Paqueta’s agent says “if Milan decide to fine him, he will pay the fine”, amidst speculation the midfielder will be punished.
Paqueta was brought off at half-time during Milan’s 1-0 win against Verona on Sunday, with Coach Marco Giampaolo describing him as “a bit too Brazilian” in his approach.
The 21-year-old hit back with an Instagram post that read “proud to be Brazilian”, fuelling talk that he will be reprimanded by the club.
“Everything’s fine, there are no problems between Lucas and Milan,” Eduardo Uram told Tuttomercatoweb.
“His substitution was normal, Lucas is happy to be at Milan. Everything’s fine with the Coach and the club.
“If Milan decide to fine him, Lucas will pay the fine. Milan will have a good season. We’re talking about a great team.”
