Nenad Bjelica reveals Dinamo Zagreb changed for Atalanta and after the 4-0 win will “go for three points in every game, including against Manchester City.”

The Croatians had lost 11 Champions League games in a row and were just one shy of the all-time record set by Anderlecht, but crushed Atalanta 4-0.

“It is a thoroughly deserved victory, as we scored four goals and did not concede any,” said the former Spezia Coach in his Press conference.

“It is a thoroughly deserved victory, as we scored four goals and did not concede any,” said the former Spezia Coach in his Press conference.

“It’s an excellent result. I believe in our hard work, with optimism and victories like this set the template for how we want to play going forward.

“We sent scouts to view Atalanta and that is why we changed our tactical system to counter their strengths.”

Are Dinamo Zagreb now the favourites to progress to the Round of 16 along with Manchester City, who won 3-0 away to Shakhtar Donetsk?

“After this match, I think it’s very clear where Dinamo are. We are top of the group. We played an absolutely perfect game for 70 minutes, while in the second half Atalanta did create some scoring opportunities.

“We’ve been sending messages out for 16 months, we’ve got players who can play at the highest level in Europe. We want the three points in every game, including against Manchester City.”
