Serie A Week 4 referees

The referees for Serie A Week 4 have been announced as Daniele Doveri will officiate the Derby della Madonnina between Milan and Inter.

This is Doveri’s biggest game since the Derby d’Italia between Inter and Juventus in May 2015.

He has overseen 12 wins, three draws and one defeat in Serie A matches involving Milan, as opposed to a record of just four victories in 15 Inter games.

The VAR at San Siro will be Massimiliano Irrati, who was the man in the middle for the first Derby d’Italia of last season.

Elsewhere, Federico La Penna is the man in the middle for Juventus-Verona and Luca Pairetto is given Roma’s trip to Bologna.

Marco Piccinini is entrusted with Lecce-Napoli, while Lazio’s visit of Parma will be at the discretion of Rosario Abisso.
