Ivan Juric says Verona can beat Juventus if they “play freely” and that he still sees “a lot of Max Allegri” in the Bianconeri’s game.

Verona only lost to a Krzysztof Piatek penalty against Milan last weekend, and Juric believes his side have what it takes to stun Juve in Serie A tomorrow.

“To pick up points in Turin, you have to play freely, not only thinking about defending,” the Coach explained at a Press conference.

“To pick up points in Turin, you have to play freely, not only thinking about defending,” the Coach explained at a Press conference.

“I don’t think it’s impossible to get a result. Of course, they have very good players and when they push on, there’s no-one like them.

“For us, whoever’s in the best shape will be on the pitch: Pazzini’s still lagging behind in terms of fitness so, for that reason, replacing the suspended Stepinski will be [Samuel] Di Carmine, who must show that he knows how to play in Serie A like in Serie B.

“I saw a lot of Allegri’s Juve in Madrid. I also noticed Sarri’s work, but Juventus aren’t like Sarri’s Napoli yet.

“Atletico are set-piece specialists, so I don’t think it’s a big problem for the Bianconeri. Practically nothing changes if they play one or another.”
