Palermo have set another Serie D record after selling an all-time League high of 10,446 season tickets.

Palermo were only refounded in July after they were forced to start over in the non-League, with the original club folding due to financial irregularities.

Some familiar faces have returned to the new-look Rosanero, including Coach Rosario Pergolizzi and forward Mario Santana [pictured].

It also seems so have the fans as the club announced on Friday they had sold 10,446 season tickets.

That is a new high for Serie D, beating the previous record held by Parma following their demotion to the division in 2015.

Despite already going out of the Coppa Italia Serie D, the Sicilians are second in Group I of the fourth tier with three wins from their opening three games.
