Milan and Inter are presenting their proposal for a new arena that will replace the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza at San Siro.

The two clubs have come together to build a new stadium, which will be right next to the current Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, so still technically in the San Siro area of the city.

The Mayor of Milan gave them the option of buying the Stadio Meazza so they could reconstruct it, but a study showed the costs of the operation along with the amount of time they’d have to play elsewhere during work, simply made it unfeasible.
