Lorenzo Insigne’s brother has hit out at Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti for lacking ‘balls’ about the forward’s omission against Racing Genk.
Insigne was surprisingly dropped for Napoli’s 0-0 draw with Genk last night, Ancelotti claiming after the game that the captain was “less than sharp” in training.
However, the Coach’s version of events has not gone down well in the forward’s household.
“Not even the balls to tell the truth...” Antonio wrote on Instagram.
“One goal or assist every 63 minutes... it’s true, he isn’t very sharp...”
The post was later deleted but was still liked by 100s of users on the social-media platform.
It now remains to be seen whether the 28-year-old will be reinstated against Torino on Sunday.
