Napoli have reportedly thrown out Arkadiusz Milik’s demands to almost double his €2.5m salary.

Milik’s contract has less than two years left to run and the striker recently admitted to confidence issues, having failed to score in just 161 minutes of football for Napoli this season.

According to La Repubblica, negotiations over a renewal have been delayed by six months and have been put back further.

According to La Repubblica, negotiations over a renewal have been delayed by six months and have been put back further.

That would be because the Partenopei are “not even considering” his request for a €4.5m salary – almost twice the €2.5m he is currently earning each year.

The situation only looks like changing if the Pole finds form soon, with Hirving Lozano and Fernando Llorente only adding to the competition at the San Paolo.
