Italy are expected to use players from nine different clubs in their starting XI against Greece, as a victory would secure Euro 2020 qualification.
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome tonight at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).
Roberto Mancini’s Azzurri have so far won all six of their games in Group J and a seventh would be enough to book their spot at the tournament next summer.
Several players are unavailable, including Giorgio Chiellini, Stefano Sensi, Alessandro Florenzi, Emerson Palmieri and Lorenzo Pellegrini.
As the game is being played at the Olimpico, it seems likely Mancini will look to Roma and Lazio players such as Francesco Acerbi, Leonardo Spinazzola and Ciro Immobile.
There are set to be nine different clubs represented in the starting XI: Milan, Inter, Juventus, Lazio, Roma, Chelsea, PSG, Fiorentina and Napoli.
The one doubt remaining is between Federico Bernardeschi and Nicolò Barella in midfield, with the Juve man currently the favourite.
Danilo D’Ambrosio seems likely to take the right-back slot, leaving potential debutant Giovanni Di Lorenzo on the bench.
Italy will debut the new special edition green jersey.
Greece have midfielder Giorgos Masouras suspended, while Napoli defender Kostas Manolas was surprisingly not called up for international duty this month.
Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Benfica’s Andreas Samaris and forward Kostas Mitroglu also miss out.
It remains to be seen if Vasilis Lampropoulos or Panagiotis Retsos will get the nod at centre-back with Dimitrios Siovas seemingly certain of his place.
Anything less than a victory for Greece would see them ruled out of the race for the second qualification spot, as they currently have a record of just one win, two draws and three defeats.
Italy (probable): G Donnarumma; D'Ambrosio, Bonucci, Acerbi, Spinazzola; Bernardeschi, Jorginho, Verratti; Chiesa, Immobile, Insigne
Greece (probable): Vlachodimos; Bakakis, Retsos, Siovas, Stafylidis; Vrousai, Bouchalakis, Zeca, Kourbelis, Fetfatzidis; Koulouris
