Atalanta are planning a new contract for wing-back Timothy Castagne, as he is targeted by Napoli, Celtic and several Premier League clubs.
The 23-year-old was purchased from KRC Genk in the summer of 2017 for €6.5m and proved instrumental in last season’s run to third place.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Atalanta are negotiating a new contract for Castagne, which would at least double his current €550,000 salary.
It’d only run to June 2022, so adding an extra year to his current deal.
So far this season, Castagne has scored one goal in four games between Serie A and the Champions League.
This week, he also got his first goal in five senior Belgium caps.
