Inter will be without full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio after the international break with a broken toe.

D’Ambrosio suffered the injury during Italy’s 2-0 win against Greece in Euro 2020 qualifying on Saturday.

A statement on Inter’s official website confirmed he had “fractured the proximal phalanx bone in the fourth toe of his right foot.”

As for the date of his return, the Nerazzurri added the 31-year-old’s condition “will be re-evaluated next week.”

He will miss the Beneamata’s next Serie A match against Sassuolo this Sunday, as well as possibly the Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund on October 23.
