Italy are expected to go on a tour of Qatar in March 2020 with two friendlies which could earn approximately €7m.

The Azzurri have already qualified for Euro 2020, so are starting to plan the build-up to next summer’s tournament.

According to La Repubblica newspaper, FIGC representatives will fly out to Qatar next week to discuss two friendly matches in March.

These would generate a lot of revenue, including €2m to host the games and €4.5-5m in TV rights.
