“We have two points against Greece and Armenia. It’ll be a bit more difficult against Italy, but we hope to get a point here too.

“The team is certainly growing, as we all have hope and are now looking for at least a point,” the 21-year-old told Rai Sport.

He does have experience in Italy, not just because his father Mario played for Ternana, Siena and Hellas Verona, but also his own brief spell at Perugia, Livorno and Pro Piacenza.

“It’s nice being in Italy, even if I didn’t play very much. It was perhaps too early, but I am ready now, if anyone wants to call me!

“I am currently at FC Rapperswil-Jona, I want to score many goals, then look to go to Serie B or Serie A.”

His father Mario Frick is the Coach of FC Vaduz, with younger brother Noah – who is also on the bench today – in the team.

“It’s nice, we all live together… but I don’t want to play here… I want to move on.”

Where would he like to play, ideally?

“Serie A, Napoli… Carlo Ancelotti, please call me! Forza Napoli!”
