Former Juventus boss Max Allegri has refused to comment on Manchester United links but admitted that he is learning English.

Allegri is the clear favourite to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the event United sack the Norwegian, and he only added to the speculation.

“My English isn’t good enough yet, but I’m learning,” he told Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy.

The 52-year-old left Juve at the end of last season and remains contracted to the club until next June.
