Roma, Lazio and Napoli are reportedly all interested in signing Celtic and France Under-21 striker Odsonne Edouard.
Edouard is a 21-year-old in form after scoring nine goals and providing five assists for Celtic so far this season.
He netted a hat-trick for France U21s against Slovakia on Tuesday, taking his tally at youth level to 38 goals in just 33 caps.
According to The Daily Record in Scotland, Roma, Lazio and Napoli all scouted the hitman in Slovakia, as did Borussia Dortmund and Olympique Lyonnais.
The newspaper explains Lazio – who have been grouped with Celtic in the Europa League - considered making a €20m move for his services over the summer.
As for Roma, they are described as ‘having an eye’ on Edouard with a view to him possibly succeeding Edin Dzeko one day.
Finally, the publication writes Napoli are “looking for an X-Factor to take them to the next level” and that the starlet “would fit their breakneck counterattacking style to a tee.”
However, it is warned the Scottish champions are standing firm and will refuse to part with the player until at least the summer.
Edouard became their record signing last year, arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in a €10.3m deal.
