Juventus reportedly want to renew Wojciech Szczesny’s contract after he attracted interest from Manchester United over the summer.
According to Goal.com, United made an enquiry for Szczesny with a view to signing him in the event David de Dea left the club.
However, the website assures Juve view the Pole as “one of their prized assets” and now want to tie him down beyond 2021.
Furthermore, the Bianconeri would be prepared to offer him an increase on his current salary of €3.5m.
The 29-year-old began his professional career at Arsenal before spending two seasons on loan at Roma between 2015 and 2017.
He then joined the Old Lady, initially as an understudy to Gianluigi Buffon, and became their No 1 goalkeeper last term.
Szczesny has made 69 competitive appearances for Juve, keeping 35 clean sheets and winning back-to-back Scudetti.
