Milan’s Rade Krunic says Stefano Pioli has given him his “confidence” back as it is reported the midfielder is no longer Genoa-bound.
Krunic’s lack of game time under Marco Giampaolo fuelled speculation of a possible loan move to Genoa, where he would have reunited with Aurelio Andreazzoli.
However, Calciomercato.com claims he impressed Pioli during his substitute appearance against Lecce last night, although Milan could only manage a 2-2 draw.
With that in mind, the Bosnian would have taken himself off the market.
“Mentality was the first thing that the Coach asked from us,” he told Tuttomercatoweb.
“We showed to have grown a bit, even if the goal we conceded right at the end makes us throw everything away. We’re very sorry about the result.
“Quite a bit has changed since Giampaolo. From the bench in the first half, I saw a more determined and polished Milan.
“You could see that we really wanted to win tonight. The Coach has given everyone confidence and we feel very good with him.
“We hope to stay on this path. The result was only one of a few negative things.”
