Milan: Pioli to drop Suso?

Milan boss Stefano Pioli is reportedly ready to drop Suso, who became a trending topic in Italy with the hashtag #SusoOut.

Suso underwhelmed Milan fans during Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Lecce, in Pioli’s first game at the helm.

That was followed by supporters tweeting #SusoOut – to the extent, the phrase began trending nationwide in Italy.

Now, Tuttosport writes the Coach is “seriously thinking” about benching the Spaniard against Roma this weekend.

The newspaper explains new signing Ante Rebic could play on the right of a trident in a 4-3-3 or 3-4-2-1.

Alternatively, Hakan Calhanoglu would be considered as a No 10 behind Krzysztof Piatek and Rafael Leao in a 4-3-1-2.

Suso, who has managed just one assist in eight Serie A matches this season, is in the final three years of his contract.
