“We know the importance of this game and prepared for it with the right attitude. I have a lot of international experience and I feel ready for this challenge, as they all felt different,” the former Atletico Madrid centre-back told Inter TV.
“We dream of going through to the Round of 16 and that’s why it is a crucial match.”
Borussia Dortmund have four points from two games and are yet to concede, while Inter scraped only one point at home to Slavia Prague.
Godin has been rested for many Serie A games to preserve him for the Champions League.
“I started the season with an injury, but I’m adapting to a new system and the important thing is that the team continues its growth process.”
