According to the Corriere di Torino newspaper, an analysis of the published Juventus accounts show Mandzukic must be sold for at least €5.3m to avoid writing him off as a loss.

Obviously, the Bianconeri would prefer to still make a profit on the player, who is 33 years old and under contract until June 2021.

Mattia Perin is in a similar situation and his cost on the balance sheet is registered at €10.6m, so the goalkeeper is likely to be sent out on loan with option to buy in January.
