Mauro Icardi claims Paris Saint-Germain are “the best team I have ever played in” after the Inter loanee scored yet again for his new club.
Icardi took his tally for PSG to six goals in just five games last night, helping the French champions thrash Olympique Marseille 4-0 to move eight points clear at the top of Ligue 1.
“I'm happy about my goals and the win this evening,” he told Canal+.
“I have played with great champions, but this PSG are the best team I have ever played in. I feel good and I can score goals.”
The Parisians have an option to buy the 26-year-old at the end of the season, for a reported €70m.
His exploits come despite a lack of a real preseason, the Argentine having been frozen out by Nerazzurri boss Antonio Conte.
