Now chief Marotta reassures that Conte will have the support to build on what has been a great start in Serie A for the Nerazzurri.

“The Coach needs to worry when difficulties present themselves, we know it’s an emergency and we are looking at the January market with optimism,” said Marotta to Corriere dello Sport.

“We are ready to take the opportunity offered by the transfer market to strengthen this team to become even better, as we believe we will be able to reflect our ambitions through this squad.

“The objective was clear at the start of the season, to create a winning model based on a solid foundation that gradually includes a return to victory. We are looking to shape our team based on work efforts, a sense of belonging, sacrifice and the values we sought and found in Conte."

Before tonight’s game at the Rigamonti, Inter find themselves one point behind the league leaders Juventus and will be able to creep on top of the standings overnight with a win at Brescia.
