“We spoke a little and we have accepted our responsibilities. Tomorrow we need a good performance, that’s the goal,” the Coach said at a Press conference on Tuesday.

“I’m sure the lads are disappointed and angry. Tomorrow we will give our all to perform at home against Roma.”

The former defender wants to put the nightmare to bed as he moves forward, trying to convince his players that they are stronger than their last result.

“I’m convinced that this team has the capacity to react. The loss to Atalanta was an ugly episode, but I’m sure that this does not represent our team,” added the 41-year-old.

He is expecting a similar kind of opponent when Paulo Fonseca’s men arrive in Friuli.

“They play in a very similar way. They have been hurt by a lot of injuries, but still have a lot of champions in their team. I still don’t think it will be easy for them tomorrow.”
