Yann Karamoh has confirmed that he received racial abuse on social media after Parma’s 2-2 draw with Inter.

Karamoh helped Parma earn a point against his former side on Saturday and posted a video on Instagram of his goal at San Siro.

However, one vile user replied to the clip with a message containing monkey and banana emojis, which did not go amiss.

“I’d like to share this unacceptable message with you,” wrote the France Under-21 forward on Instagram.

Roma defender Juan Jesus was also subjected to racism on the platform, resulting in the perpetrator being banned from attending football matches in Italy.
