Roberto D’Aversa believes Parma put in the right performance against Hellas Verona, but lost 1-0 despite “creating so much.”

Darko Lazovic slammed in an early strike and that proved to be the difference at the Stadio Tardini.

Verona in the past achieved much less than they deserved, but if we analyse this evening’s game as a whole, then we are the team who should’ve had more,” said the Ducali boss in his press conference.

“Verona in the past achieved much less than they deserved, but if we analyse this evening’s game as a whole, then we are the team who should’ve had more,” said the Ducali boss in his press conference.

“It’s disappointing to emerge empty-handed when we created so much. We mustn’t go looking for alibis like the injuries. Verona were more aggressive in the opening stages and we weren’t as determined enough on their goal.

“Despite the players who weren’t available, we put in the performance that was needed. I could not have asked for much more from my team.

“Ultimately, I have to judge my team on their performance and not just the result, in which case I saw a good Parma this evening.”
