Rolando Maran assures Cagliari will not be tired when they face Bologna in Serie A this evening after praising the squad depth at his disposal.

Cagliari extended their unbeaten run to seven games with a 1-1 draw at Torino last weekend, consolidating seventh place in the process, but Maran accepts he has to reshuffle his pack.

“We’ve trained well so, beyond my choices for the next match, the players won’t be affected by fatigue,” said the Coach at a Press conference yesterday.

“We have used as many as 24 different players, more than all the other Serie A teams, so I’ll try to give some minutes to the whole squad.”

The Sardinians host a Bologna side who are battling in mid-table, but the 56-year-old believes they have what it takes to come through again.

“They’re an uncomfortable opponent. They play with a high line and press in every area of the pitch. It will be a difficult match but we know, if we get it right, we’ll have our say.
