Milan midfielder Lucas Paqueta claims there is "no more confusion" at the club following the arrival of Stefano Pioli.

The Brazilian, who has struggled to recapture the form he showed towards the end of last season, did not hold back when asked about the differences between Pioli and predecessor Marco Giampaolo.

"I believe that with [Stefano] Pioli the team is more at ease. Before, someone was not in the right position or someone else in a position they didn't like.

"If a player plays in a position they prefer then they play better, and this is happening now."

Giampaolo is known for not communicating greatly with his players. Indeed, Fabio Quagliarella revealed in September that the former Sampdoria Coach only spoke to him "five or six times in three years".

The ex-Empoli boss also had a strained relationship with Paqueta, urging him to be "less Brazilian" in his approach.

"Pioli is more direct in asking us certain things, and this has made things better for us.

"When you receive too much information, you get a bit confused, but with him everything is clear."

The 22-year-old has made eight appearances for the Rossoneri this term, providing one assist.
