“It went well afterwards and we hope to continue like this now. It’s too early to talk about our position in the table, as there is so long to go this season.

“We are up against a tough Napoli side, both want to win, and we’ll see what happens.”

Manolas is back in the Napoli XI after bruised ribs and will be facing former Roma teammate Dzeko.

“I spoke to Kostas the other day, he is returning from injury. He knows me well, I know him well, so we’ll see.”
