Torino director general Antonio Comi was pleased with their performance against Juventus, but wants more “consistency” on handball.

The Granata remain in crisis after six defeats in the first 11 Serie A rounds and were beaten by a Matthijs de Ligt effort from a corner.

“We wanted to see a performance with determination and character, which we certainly got this evening,” Comi told DAZN.

“What disappoints and confuses us is that the penalty was not given here, but the one given against Juventus in Lecce was awarded. It was a very similar incident, I don’t see why that was given and this one wasn’t.

“If anything, against Lecce the ball came from further away and he had more time to get out of the way. We’d just like to see some consistency.”
