After Romelu Lukaku hit a brace against Bologna yesterday, the Belgian's start to life with Inter in Serie A is equal to that of the Brazilian Ronaldo.
Lukaku's two goals have now brought him to nine in 11 Serie A games for Inter, matching the start made by Ronaldo in the 1997-98 season.
The former Manchester United striker had previously found the net against Lecce, Cagliari, Milan, Sassuolo (2), Parma and Brescia this season.
The Brazilian Ronaldo scored against Bologna, Fiorentina, Lecce (2), Lazio, Parma, Milan, Vicenza and Sampdoria in what was his best season during his five-year stint with Inter.
He left Inter in the summer of 2002 for Real Madrid.
