Juventus are increasingly confident that Cristiano Ronaldo and Matthijs de Ligt will both be fit to play Milan on Sunday.
Ronaldo was replaced for the final 10 minutes of Juve’s 2-1 win against Lokomotiv Moscow midweek, which coach Maurizio Sarri put down to prevention.
De Ligt, meanwhile, missed the trip to Russia with a sprained ankle, picked up in the Derby della Mole with Torino last weekend.
Goal.com’s Romeo Agresti writes the pair trained separately from the squad on Friday but that optimism they will face Milan is “filtering”.
At this stage, the Portuguese seems likelier to start than the defender, who may only be named as a substitute.
