Inzaghi's men cemented their status in the top four with another win, their fifth in the last seven games, after overcoming the Giallorossi at the Stadio Olimpico.

"I could not have asked the lads for more," said the coach in his press conference.

"Lecce are a physical team, and their attackers played very well, and they made us run. In the last 20 minutes we had to do better at keeping the ball and circulating it around the pitch. However we played a very good game, and we must continue like this."

The Biancocelesti have now scored 28 times in the league in 12 games, the second highest scorers in the division, is this Inzaghilandia?

"We must try to find more balance. We know that we have to improve because playing in this way we have four attacking players and two very offensive ones."

With Lazio unbeaten in the last seven Serie A games, is the international break coming at the wrong time, and stopping their momentum?

"We would have liked to continue given the latest results, but it [the international break] is here now. The players will rest until Wednesday, and then we will return to training."
