The Blucerchiati held Atalanta to a goalless draw at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris and have only scored three times in the last six games.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia after the game, Ranieri insisted he is not worried.

"We miss goals, but they will come. The foundation is the most important thing when building a house. We can wait a little before decorating with the paintings, which are the goals."

Fabio Quagliarella is going through a rough patch of form, with last season's Capocannoniere only scoring once this season.

"I want to fix the defensive set-up first, as we are in difficulty, then I will let him have the players he needs to help him score."

Samp sit 18th in the league, and have only one twice this term.
