Tottenham Hotspur have shown an interest in signing Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, according to reports.
Tottenham are preparing for life after Christian Eriksen, whose contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
Now, 90min.com and Calciomercato.it are claiming Pellegrini is on their list of possible replacements for Eriksen.
CM goes one step further, adding the Champions League finalists are plotting a bid of €50-60m in January.
The Italy international has managed just six appearances for Roma this season after breaking a metatarsal two months ago.
Despite Spurs' interest, it is thought the 23-year-old would rather stay with the Giallorossi, with whom he is under contract until 2022.
He previously had a €30m release clause, but it is no longer valid and talks over a new deal could take place soon.
