Inter and Milan are both interested in signing Olympique Marseille midfielder Kevin Strootman, according to French newspaper L'Equipe.
Strootman left Roma in the summer of 2018 to join Marseille for a reported €25m after helping the Giallorossi reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
However, L'Equipe claims the Dutchman is now free to leave the Ligue 1 side for the right price, and this has alerted both Milan clubs.
The Rossoneri will try to add more experience to their squad in January, while at 29 he is younger than Antonio Conte's preferred target Arturo Vidal.
Strootman made 131 appearances for Roma in all competitions, scoring 13 goals.
