ADL 'wants €900m for Napoli'

Aurelio De Laurentiis is only prepared to sell Napoli for a fee in region of €900m, according to Il Mattino.

The Daily Mail claimed yesterday that the Al-Thani family of Qatar had offered €560m to buy Napoli.

However, Il Mattino is today running the line that De Laurentiis values the Partenopei at almost double.

Despite the club's current situation, the Naples-based daily is adamant the patron has no intention of selling up.

However, he would have held several meetings with members of the Qatari ruling family in January, concerning investment via sponsorship.

De Laurentiis bought Napoli in 2004 and saved them from bankruptcy. They've won two Coppa Italia during his time as owner.
