Roma defender Gianluca Mancini will leave the Italy camp after suffering a muscle injury, the FIGC has confirmed.
Mancini was called up for Italy’s Euro 2020 qualifiers with Bosnia-Herzegovina and Armenia.
However, the FIGC announced this evening that the 23-year-old had picked up a muscle strain and would return to Rome tomorrow morning.
The former Atalanta man had been playing in central midfield for the Giallorossi, as is the extent of their injury problems.
Calciomcercato.com warns he faces “at least weeks out”, possibily ruling him out of Roma’s next two games against Brescia and Istanbul Basaksehir.
