The 2-1 loss at home to Celtic was the Aquile’s third in four Europa League fixtures, but the 24-year-old is looking beyond that.

“We haven’t got the results we wanted in Europa League, but now we have to focus on Serie A and our objective is to arrive among the top four.

“Our target is always this. We have failed the previous years, but this year we have the quality to get there.”

Ciro Immobile has scored 14 goals in just 12 Serie A games this season, already making him Capocannoniere…

“Ciro is one of the best strikers in Italy and he always shows why that is. I hope he keeps scoring goals and making assists.”

After the international break, Lazio travel to Sassuolo on November 24.
